You are allowed to start over without explaining yourself.

Starting over does not erase what you learned. Sometimes changing direction is the clearest sign that you are finally listening to yourself.

You Are Allowed To Start Over — The Nessy Edit

Changing your mind is not failure.

You can appreciate what a season taught you and still decide it no longer fits. A new direction does not make the old effort meaningless; it means you are using what you know now.

You do not need unanimous approval.

People may understand your decision later, immediately or never. Your life cannot be built around making every choice easy for everyone else to accept.

Make the next move small and real.

A fresh start does not require a dramatic announcement. Update one routine, make one call, clear one space or take one step toward the life you want to live next.

Keep the lesson, release the shame.

Take responsibility for what is yours, learn from it and let the lesson become useful. Shame keeps you staring backward; reflection helps you move forward.
